New and improved deposit system

The electronic banking system we used in previous years required us to take and refund deposits for each event, or be charged a service fee which we were loathe to absorb or pass on to you guys.

This year we have implemented a new system using Nochex whereby it will be possible to pay a single deposit, sign up for multiple events and have the deposit returned in full at the end of the season, or whenever you have had enough! It couldn’t be simpler.

  • If you don't have a username and password already, give us some basic deails - I want to work
  • Log in with your username and password
  • Tell us which event you would like to work at
  • Go to 'My fesivals' and choose to pay a deposit

So, you can plan your summer more efficiently, lining up events in advance and not be concerned with last minute plans.

You will also still be able to sign up for a single event and receive your deposit back afterwards. No change there.

We will be asking for a single 90 pounds deposit for the whole season.

The only exception to this will be for the team we take to Glastonbury Festival where an additional deposit will be required.

In keeping with the industry standard we will retain your deposit in full only in the case of you failing to complete an allocated shift pattern at any given event. We might also make deductions from your deposit to cover the replacement cost of any equipment issued should you fail to return it.
